On Tuesday, May 22, 2018 I’ll be presenting for the Calgary Casters meetup group, where I will be sharing my tips and tricks to get new podcasters started with all the gear they need to produce a great podcast, without breaking the bank.
I’ll show new podcasters (and those frugal casters looking for an upgrade) how to get started for less than $50, and what pieces to upgrade from there. At the end of the presentation, there will be a Q&A session where myself and other experienced podcasters will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
As the Host and Producer of Fireside Chat, I have wasted a lot of money buying the wrong gear, or gear that was right “for now”, but wouldn’t let me scale as the show grew or our needs changed. I don’t want you to make the same mistakes that I did. This presentation is designed to help you make the most of your hard-earned money, and buy only the gear you need, and gear that will last you for a long time as your show grows.
If you’d like to attend, you can RSVP or get more details on the Meetup event page. Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
